Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent patient care, be proactive in educating patients about proper oral hygiene, and have the skills necessary to perform a variety of hygiene-related duties in a busy dental office setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth

• Take and develop X-rays

• Examine patients’ gums and teeth for signs of disease, infection, or other oral health issues

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and disease prevention

• Apply fluoride and sealants to patients’ teeth

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Stay up-to-date on current dental hygiene trends and techniques

• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience
