The Sales Representative is responsible for securing new business. This is done by identifying opportunities in a defined territory and contacting key decision makers through sales calls, by phone and in-person. Successful candidates are comfortable engaging business people at all levels. This requires the ability to use consultative selling techniques (communication skills, questioning and listening techniques, etc.), the discipline of being persistent, and following a weekly plan.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (local and Headquarters training provided):
? Make sales activity calls including phone and in person visits to generate weekly decision-maker meetings.
? Document all calls in we-based sales software system.
? Prepare and execute a weekly sales plan.
? On-line research to better understand prospects' business.
? Maximize sales by classifying prospective clients and using the appropriate call frequency, based on potential business.
? Develop a sales action plan for each of the Top 20 Target Prospects.
? Maintain strong working relations with Staffing Consultants.
? Cultivate incremental business from existing Clients.
? Three+ recent years of experience in Business to Business Sales, in high call volume industries (Yellow Pages, Pharmaceutical, Radio Media, Office Equipment, etc.)
? Hands-on experience using Sales Software system
? History of Compensation at least 50% performance driven.
? Experience with detailed sales proposals (Bring examples).
? Personal Characteristics: High Energy, Tenacious, and Professional.
? A 4-year College degree is preferred.
? Supervisor and Client References; Field Shadow Day.
? Prove It: Customer Service Mindset, Excel. Business Etiquette.
? Drug Test, Motor Vehicle Report, Proof of Insurance, Criminal Background Check.
