Opportunity to lead, train and manage our sales team to combine our new digital advertising and services offerings with our robust broadcast and streaming media offerings. This is a hand-on, lead by example position with direct sales responsibilities, staff responsibilities and additional staff recruiting as needed.
Generate new business with larger Memphis Metro businesses while creating new relationships with decision-makers. Prepare and teach digital product training to empower our Account Executive team to do consultative selling on digital. Manage team to add digital to existing broadcast clients as well as to make new business calls for combo broadcast/ digital presentations. Accurately project digital revenues and meet/exceed monthly budgets. Process sales data and work closely with other key team members to provide organized information as well as market insights to guide our future growth. Work independently to meet deadlines, work creatively and manage clients’ advertising campaigns to achieve success.
Must want to help businesses reach their goals, must like to win and be commission driven. Must have successful track record of selling media and/or other larger ticket intangibles such as insurance required. Proficiency in digital media required. Goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic required. Must be accomplished at prospecting and qualifying. Required ability to quickly engage clients and develop rapport using excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and vehicle required. Must have related college degree or equivalent experience.
